Oregon Moms Union has released a June 2022 statewide poll to gauge voters' mood surrounding issues of school choice.
The results show overwhelming support for expanding school choice in Oregon. In light of Oregonians' appetite for change, Oregon Moms Union is preparing to take significant steps to implement school choice in our state in the near future.
The poll was conducted by Nelson Research, a nationally recognized Oregon pollster that has been relied on for polling statewide in the Governor's race by news media over the past several months.

September Statewide Poll Shows Major Concerns Over School Curriculum & Academic Standards
Oregon Moms Union released their September statewide polling, showing 55% of Oregonians expressed that they felt the education system is on the wrong track and that their main concerns were related to curriculum (combined, totaling 44%) and academic standards (combined, totaling 11%).
“These are concerns we hear from parents every day,” said Oregon Moms Union President MacKensey Pulliam. “With the recent release of dismal proficiency levels following two years of learning loss, many parents are rightly concerned with the political content being taught in schools instead of focusing on essential skills like literacy and understanding of necessary math concepts.”
With the release of the new graduation recommendations, parents are concerned that the Oregon Department of Education is trying to dumb down graduation standards to hide how bad they’re failing Oregon students.
